IDS-PCM Intelligent Access Equipment

Introduction

IDS-PCM intelligent access equipment is a photoelectricity transmission and access integration equipment, which is developed for the special requirements of power private communication network.

Functions

  • In the PCM cabinet, the plug slots are general except the main control and power card. The optional plug cards can be SDH/STM-1, SPDH/E3, PDH/E2 optical interface card, E1 electrical interface card, HDSL extension electrical interface, user or network cards of speech, data, image or computer IP etc. These slots are plug and play, and the time-slot is configured by software.
  • Each layer in cabinet can provide up to 14 pairs of 155Mbps(SDH/STM-1) or 34Mbps(SPDH/E3) or 8Mbps(PDH/E2) optical interface, can make up of many fiber networks such as point£­point, star, chain, one fiber ring and dual fiber self-healing ring etc.
  • Each layer can provide up to 8 pairs of G.703/E1 electrical interface.
  • Each layer can provide up to 112 pairs of user ports, User interface can choose FXO loop relay, FXS subscriber time, E&M relay, VP audio dedicated line, PLT power line carrier speech transfer, V.28 low speed asynchronous data, 64kbps/G.703 synchronous data, V.35 high speed synchronous data etc, can connect with switch network, dispatching network, LAN and video conference network directly.
  • Under lack of the V5 interface condition, can realize 2.048Mbps/G.703 remote numbering by connecting IDS2000-PCMs to network, the office side can save the PCM investment with the limitation that the inter office switch system is HARRIS or PDS PBX.
  • Speech and Ethernet can share the bandwidth, self-adaptive dynamic management. When the speech channel is idle, leave it to the Ethernet.
  • User interface adopts general carrying board, single line module design. The different user interface modules can be plugged into one general carrying board arbitrarily. The user interface numbers can be chosen in one maximum capacity range, the minimum value is 1, which decreases system investment greatly.
  • Having the full cross-connecting function of 256 64Kbps channels, allowing multipoint to share one 2Mbps channel or multi 2Mbps channels.
  • Doing fault management, configuration management, performance management, security management and charging management in the local or remote network management centre by configuring network unit management, can unify management with SDH, SPDH optical transmission device, microwave device, power equipment, and environment monitoring and control device.
