Multi-media Dispatching Communication Centre of the Power System

Introduction

Multi-media dispatching communication system of the power system is a system which integrates communication technique, network technique internet technique, CTI£¨Computer Telephony Integration£©technique, and database technique. It is developed on the platform of OmniPCX A4400 switch system from French Alcatel company.

When the dispatching desk is voice calling, the channel is also established. When one side is conversing with other side, the image of each side is popped up on the screen, the dispatcher can choose which side¡¯s image to be observed in multi-side communication. The communication centre system has optional video monitoring system. The dispatcher can monitor the unmanned duty station in real time by the web browser windows in the case that the required hardware is in place and the corresponding channel is established.
