FJY Feries Remote Terminal Unit

Introduction

FJY series remote terminal unit is based on distributed multi-CPU concept and AC sampling technology. FJY series remote terminal unit mainly includes FJY-2 distributed AC sampling RTU, FJY-3 distributed RTU and FJY-3N RTU based on the Ethernet.

FJY series RTU is suitable for 35kV-220kV substations, switch yard, power plant, and hydraulic power station as measurement and supervisory control system.

This device passed the ministry appraisal in 1992 and received the second-class of Power Ministry Technology Progress Award.

Functional Characteristics

  • The system employs distributed modular structural design, flexible configuration and is easy to expand.
  • AC sampling and DC sampling compatible design, AC sampling two-meter method and three-meter method selectable, the measurement algorithm includes 15th harmonics, and the hardware circuit can be automatically adjusted.
  • Power supply adopts AC and DC non-interference switching, redundancy and balanced current technology.
  • Communication network adopts main/backup redundancy, main/backup modules automatically switchover to satisfy unmanned high reliability requirements.
  • Teleindication circuit supports two-level isolation. Advanced signal extraction algorithm assures real-time performance and accuracy of change of state and event.
  • Enriched history database can record RTU running condition, switch event, and telecontrol operation. The records will not be lost while losing power. Perfect self-diagnostic function is convenient for local or remote maintenance.
  • Telecontrol multiple interlocking with special output checking function to assure its validity.
  • Support various communication interfaces and protocols such as RS232, RS422, RS485, CANBUS, fiber-optic,4F,SC1801, DNP3.0, IEC870-5-101, DL476, IEC870-5-104, and MODBUS, etc.
  • Protocols of microprocessor-based relay protection, intelligent power-meter and other intelligent equipment can be selected from the panel.
  • Anti lightning strike and anti transient interference design is suitable for severe working environment.
  • Support GPS time hardware-synchronization to ensure clock synchronization across the network.
  • LCD large screen(240128 lattice), menu mode, easy for operation monitoring and maintenance.
