CAS2000 Conformity (function integrated) Substation Automation System

Introduction

CAS2000 conformity (function integrated) substation automation system, abbreviated as CAS 2000, is a new generation substation automation system which integrates microprocessor-based protection, measurement and control devices, small current grounding line choosing device, microprocessor-based maloperation preventing devices, intelligent operation screen, intelligent simulation screen, station service power source screen and electronic energy meters. CAS 2000 system further strengthens system's communication management function, to meet the requirements of the diversity of intelligent secondary equipments, the networking of communication method and the remote detection of the equipments; realizes information sharing and operational consistency between the microprocessor-based maloperation preventing equipment and local monitoring system, to decrease corresponding redundant hardware, and to increase running reliability and maintenance; simultaneously cooperates with the secondary intelligent devices such as the small current line choosing device , intelligent metering equipments, intelligent DC power screen etc., to realize the conformity of communication within the substation.

CAS2000 system applies to secondary system's creation and reconstruction of unmanned (manned) substation, box type substation, switching station of 110kv voltage level or below in the rural power networks, city power networks, industrial and mining companies.
