DAT Series Distribution Automatic Terminal

    Introduction

    DAT series are based on the distributed modular design method and synthetical analysis on the information acquisition and control requirements of the distribution network. The terminals adapt measurement and control circuits of high reliability, high speed antigumming and industrial field bus network technology to carry out real-time supervision over switching stations, loop network cabinets, pole switches, distribution transformers, capacitors and other primary devices in 10kV power line. This equipment features easy installation and wiring, simple debugging, expansive network, high reliability and measuring accuracy.

    DAT series distribution network terminals are suitable for real-time monitoring over switching stations, loop network cabinets, pole switches, distribution transformers, capacitors and other primary devices in 10kV power line of distribution automation system. It can also be used for real-time monitoring of distribution automation in the fields such as industry districts, minings, ports, metros and electric railways, etc.

    Functions
  • Remote supervisory: event resolution 4ms
  • Telemetering: measure the analog of the current, voltage, active power, reactive power, power factor, and frequency, etc .
  • Remote control: capable of receiving remote instructions to trip or close and cooperate with the main station to accomplish fault isolation, line reclose, network reconstruction and load transfer, etc.
  • Harmonic wave analysis: with DSP technology, precise harmonic wave analysis can be made on each analog input value of power network (1-15 times).
  • Statistics: switches statistic of on-line monitoring, and quality statistics of electric energy (time of voltage loss, time of over/under voltage, frequency deviation, etc.) and accumulation of electric energy of pulse.
  • Time calibration: capable of receiving and responding time checking instructions from and to the main stations to keep accordance with system clock, so that make event logs comparable.
  • Sequence of events (SOE): time and sequence of state value changes.
  • Setting modification or recalling remotely or locally: FTU (Feeder Terminal Unit)/DTU(Distributed Terminal Unit) can receive designated setting from the control center or local display equipment, as well as recall the current setting of FTU at any time. The maintenance functions include parameter setting, working state display, and system diagnosis.
  • Local operations: providing local trip/close interface to operate in case of communication fault.
  • Communication: connecting main stations and local devices with CANBUS or standard RS232/RS485/RS422 .
  • Acquisition of electric energy: get active and reactive electric energy by accumulating the active power and the reactive power acquired.
  • Self-diagnosis and self-recovery: capable of operation self-test and giving alarm in case of fault.
  • Fault identification: capable of calculating fault current according to current and setting acquired, and initiatively report fault and features to the main station for fault isolation.
